PRESS RELEASE:

01 October 2001 - For immediate release.

"Hashi Group Launches the International Skiboard Federation"

The Hashi Group, a global consulting firm out of New York, has launched the International Skiboard Federation (ISF). The ISF will be the world's governing body of the winter snow sport of 'skiboarding'.

The International Skiboard Federation is a membership style organization that sanctions amateur skiboarding events around the world and adds an exciting "PRO" division.  'Professional' status has stringent qualifying criteria.

Skiboarding is defined as any two skis under 100 cm long.  For ISF sanctioned events, athletes must use a non-releasable binding and cannot use ski poles. Poles, however, may be used and is sometimes preferred for recreational skiboarding.
